I'm very disappointed as I write this letter to the fleet, but I wanted to make everyone aware of the status and plans for our holdings in the two fleets ("Frontier Fleet" and "Imperial Frontier Fleet.")
Over the last few years that the fleets have existed and been working on our various fleet holdings, the fleets have come to rely on Janus and I to do the vast majority of the contributing. If you look at the Contributions page, everyone can see that both Janus and I have EACH donated more than everyone else COMBINED. What the chart doesn't show is that the two of us have also EACH donated more in just dilithium than anyone, and many players combined, have donated in total contributions. Furthermore, we have used MILLIONS our own earned fleet credits to buy DOFFs to put into fleet projects.
Obviously, there's going to be some that donate more than others, but in our two fleets, it's way too lopsided. It's been very common that both Janus and I were donating 1 MILLION fleet credits worth each week. It is not Janus' nor my job to spend all of our STO time grinding for the fleet while everyone else does little to nothing. While I have tried to make it very easy for everyone to earn fleet promotions and gain access to fleet assets, we're not for moochers. More people need to donate in order for us to get those assets.
So... what's going to happen?
Obviously, the biggest problem is most people never donate dilithium and expect others to do it for them. If you can't spend five minutes and run a quick Crystalline Catastrophe or mine some dilithium and donate 1000 or so each day you play, then maybe it's time to rethink your priorities and involvement in these fleets. If you're one that just wants to park a character in a fleet and not be bothered, that's absolutely fine - feel free to stay as a Provisional Officer (Fleet Rank 1) and you won't get promoted nor gain access to the fleets' assets. But if you're not donating and are upset and complaining that others aren't donating, then we're not for you.
In closing, I'm going to leave you with a little story that hopefully will spur more involvement in the fleets:

So... what's going to happen?
- As of the first of the year, Janus and I have decided to stop spending so much of our time grinding specifically for the fleet and have stop donating so much. We've also decided to COMPLETELY stop donating dilithium and will limit our other donations to what we happen to have. Don't expect us to drain our Energy Credits or go buy DOFFs for the fleet either. It is now incumbent on the rest of the fleet to get them done.
- There will be no more provision projects of any kind for any asset until all fleet holdings, including the new K-13 holding, is completely finished. Once finished, then I'll queue provision projects. (This is per allegiance, which means that when one side is done, then we'll restart them for that side and only that side.) For those of you that have earned provisions, those provisions that are available can still be used.
- We will not queue any more "Unload Surplus Fleet Marks" projects to just turn in fleet marks for fleet credits until our holding are finished for that allegiance. I have also temporarily turned off the ability to donate to other fleets within the Armada. Once all of the holdings are complete, then I will re-enable donating to other fleets within the armada and will queue the projects on a per request basis for Veteran (Fleet rank 4) members and above as we do NOT promote people based on contributing to those projects.
- Once all of the holdings are completed, fleet provision projects will only be queued as we run out of fleet provisions. This means there will be extremely limited opportunity for promotions within the fleet after the holdings are complete.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done
