1. Pursuant to Memorandum from Commander Starfleet, Stardate 87003.8, in accordance with Starfleet Uniform Code Subsection 1 & Subsection 2, Paragraph 1, Frontier Fleet will, effective immediately, impliment the following changes to fleet policy. Personnel assigned to Frontier Fleet are hereby directed to adhere to the following policy regarding wear of the Starfleet uniform. A. All personnel are required to wear an approved Fleet uniform while attending an official Fleet event or representing Frontier Fleet to any outside agency in an official capacity. B. Personnel are highly encouraged, but not required, to wear an approved Fleet uniform at all times. C. Starship captains may direct the wear of any uniform to Bridge Officers under their command, however they are encouraged to instruct their Bridge Officers to wear an approved Fleet Uniform. D. Operational Kits may be worn visibly over the uniform during official Fleet events if the situation warrants it. (During a ground combat mission, for example, but not for a Fleet diplomacy role-play event.) E. Personal armor may not be visible while wearing any approved Fleet uniform. 2. This instruction supercedes all previous policy letters on the same subject. 3. Any questions, concerns, or clarifications regarding this policy may be directed to the Director of Operations, Executive Officer, or Fleet Adjutant's Office.

APPROVED OFFICIAL FLEET UNIFORMS
All uniform variants approved for wear by Frontier Fleet personnel utilize the Odyssey uniform patterns. Reasonable pattern substitutes (such as using 'Wrath of Khan' trousers in lieu of 'Odyssey Tactical' variants, or the use of Skirts) may be authorized on a case-by-case basis, at the Commander's discretion, provided that the desired substitution retains the intended appearance of the officially approved pattern.

ACCOUTREMENTS
All personnel will wear the proper Commbadge device, rank insignia, and Fleet patch.

DIVISION INSIGNIA
Personnel will wear a Commbadge device depicting the Division Insignia of their specific Career fields, regardless of current assignment or position being held.

Intelligence Service and M.A.C.O. Officers may, optionally, wear a Commbadge without any indicating Division Insignia. Temporal Agents and Nurses' Corps may wear the appropriate Division Indignia when wearing era-appropriate uniform while on Temporal Assignments.

RANK INSIGNIA
All personnel will properly display their correct Fleet Rank on their uniform collar, as well as under their TITLE menu (located under the Character window [default hotkey 'U'], Edit Record button). Fleet Rank should not be confused with in-game LEVEL. Refer to the Frontier Fleet Rank & Title Policy for more details.

FLEET PATCH

The Fleet Patch will be worn on the left shoulder at all times while wearing any Starfleet uniform combination. Additionally, Starship captains are encouraged to direct their Bridge Officers to wear the Fleet patch. The Fleet patch is not authorized for wear with civilian attire.

DEPARTMENTAL COLORS
Personnel will wear a uniform color appropriate in color to their currently assigned position.
