First Point of Interest: KDF Imperial Frontier Fleet Holdings
Thanks to some recruiting and the influx of the new Delta Recruits, we now have almost 40 characters in the KDF Fleet. We have finished the Fleet mine (except Special Projects) and are now working on the other three holdings. The status of the holdings can be found on our main page. We also have earned provisions for the mine and starbase and are working to get some on the other two. For those that have earned the right to use provisions, if our holdings do not have the capability that you're needing, you can still use your earned provisions by getting a map invite to another fleet's holding. We suggest the "NOP Public Service" channel where you can request a map invite to any other fleet's holding. While there, you use their capabilities, but debit our provisions. (NOTE: The only exception to this is Fleet Ships where we must be a member of the fleet where the ship is bought.) Our goal is to keep provisions stocked with a minimum of five in each category, but due to usage and timing of projects, there might be a lapse every once in a while. Also, please feel free to invite people in other fleets to our holdings (either fleet) as it doesn't cost us provisions for only a map invite.
Second Point of Interest: Commodities (Update)
Some commodities can be purchased cheaper at the commodities console, located in the shuttlebay of Frontier's Embassy, than all other STO vendors found throughout the Star Trek universe. (Fed fleet only at this time.) You are welcome to find the savings there, which is significantly cheaper than their counterpart purchase locations. (Note: You can purchase them on the Fed side and send them over to your KDF toons.) Since the map revamp, we have not been able to find the cargo vessels scattered throughout different maps, so please reference the availability table to find the commodities.
Third Point of Interest: Fed Frontier Fleet Holdings
Although we now have a Tier V starbase, we still have a few projects left to finish everything up. The biggest area of need is dilithium, so it is requested that you please take some time to earn dilithium and donate it to the upgrade projects. If everyone helps, the projects will be done quickly. Please do NOT rely on everyone else to do it.
Fourth Point of Interest: Upcoming Event - Dilithium Weekend (30 April - 4 May)
[/li][li]PvE queuesThis event is a great time to stock up on unrefined dilithium! There are many times that we don't have time to earn our daily refining maximum amount, so stocking up on it is very helpful. Below are a few tips were you can get larger amounts:
[li]Battlezones
- Mining - at both the Fleet Mine as well as the Vlugta Asteroid Field - 200% of normal (can earn ~ 7K dilithium in less than half an hour)
- DOFF Missions (150% of normal)
- Science NPC (Starbase or Starship) - Select "Special Project", then "Data Sample Analysis" and then do each of the four projects
- Forced Labor Camps (KDF) (normally gives 300)
- Mine Dilithium Motherlode (Fleet Mine) (normally gives 500)
- Grant Passage to Colonists / Relocate Colonists (normally gives 500)
- Turning in Contraband (normally gives 2000)

Fifth Point of Interest: Helpful Hints - FREE DOFFs
For each of your characters, you can go to its respective academy and recruit seven free DOFFs every few days. (You actually receive the DOFFs 20 - 48 hours after the start of the missions, but there's an additional cooldown.) For Romulans/Remans, you can get an additional four DOFFs (same time constraints) from a console at the New Romulus Command Center. (Hint: It's convenient to check availability when doing the daily Lore mission at each academy.) If you have troubles finding them, please get help via our fleet's -Frontier- channel.
Sixth Point of Interest: Delta Recruit Event
For Delta Recruits, please don't forget to manually claim each reward via the "Show ? Recruit Details" UI. Non-Delta Recruits can obtain the rewards from the Temporal Intelligence Agent (First City, ESD and Romulan Flotilla.)
Seventh Point of Interest: KDF Holdings Contribution Challenge
We have come into possession of a few items that we are going to give away to our top KDF holdings contributors during the month of May.
- Fleet Ship Modules (6)
- Starship Upgrade Requisition (3)
- (Very Rare) Assault Kit Module - Polaron Bombardment Mark XII
The rules and status of this challenge can be found here. Please direct any questions to Bam-Bam.
Eighth Point of Interest: Earning Fleet Credits
Depending on the size of the fleet and the current level of the fleet, every fleet has slightly different problems, but the two problems that plague every fleet are that that members are more willing to donate fleet marks (and Expertise) a lot more than anything else and that people don't want to donate their valuable dilithium - preferring that someone else do it. This puts us in a "catch-22" as most Fed Holdings projects from now on require both fleet marks and dilithium and if people don't donate dilithium to finish projects, the next project can't be started. Unfortunately, we didn't get to design the project requirements and pretty much everything at this point (on the Fed side) requires dilithium. As fleets progress and finish their holdings, members have a lot more fleet marks than can be donated at certain times because of the slow contributions of other items. (If everyone gave other items at that same ratio, this wouldn't be a problem.) Once all the holding projects are finished, we will keep provision projects going. Additional, when available, a special "Unload Surplus Fleet Marks" project (which only gives *HALF* normal fleet credits) will be queued. As always, these projects are available to everyone - nobody has an advantage in donating because they're queued ahead of time and launch based on the previous project's cooldown clock.
